Gov. Dauda Lawal of Zamfara has approved the appointments of new Executive Secretaries for Zamfara Electricity Agency (ZEA) and Zamfara Geographic Information System (ZAGIS).
This is contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Malam Abubakar Nakwada on Saturday in Gusau.
According to him, Muzammil Muhammad-Idris has been appointed as the Executive Secretary, ZEA, a newly established agency mandated to manage the state’s power policies and initiatives.
He added that Dr Jabir Haruna-Abdulkareem is the new Executive Secretary, ZAGIS, an establishment saddled with the responsibilities of digitising the land administration system in the state.
The SSG quoted the governor as charging the appointees to work with utmost dedication and integrity.
He urged them to embrace innovations and reposition their respective agencies for the development of the state in line with the rescue agenda of his administration.
The appointments take immediate effect. (NAN)
