Zulum appoints 11 board members for Borno housing corporation

Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum has approved the appointment of 11 members for the recently established board of Borno State Housing Corporation.

The governor’s spokesman, Malam Isa Gusau, in a statement, announced that Zulum appointed eleven members from 10 local government areas.

The members, according to the statement, include Ali Sherif Galgal (Monguno), Comr. Ibrahim Mohammed Hassan (Guzamala) Abba Shuwa, NURTW (Kukawa), Mohammed Lawan Bukar (MMC), Mahmud Lawan Bakura (Mafa) Abba Lawan Musa (Jere), Hon Abba Kabir Umar Kashmiri (Bama), Jibrin Muhammed Rijiya (Bama), Suleiman Wurojam (Shani) Salisu Alhaji Ibrahim (Kwaya Kusar) and Fatima Umaru Fleng (Gwoza).

Gusau explained that the members will work with the board’s chairman to oversee activities of the housing corporation which is being repositioned in line with Governor Zulum’s bold vision to drastically increase public access to housing in all parts of Borno State.

Zulum, the statement added, expects the highest commitment from the appointees.
