Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has approved the appointment Mr Cosmos Iwu as the Secretary of the Imo State Government, Mr Nnamdi Anyaechie as Chief of Staff and Mr C. O. Akaolisa as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.
Mr Oguike Nwachukwu was also appointed as Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser, a statement signed by Mr T. U. Nwankwo, Principal Secretary to the Governor, said, adding that the appointments take immediate effect, but the Attorney-General’s would take effect after the confirmation by the Imo House of Assembly.
The appointments, announced Friday, were the first by the new governor.
