Niger State Governor Mohammed Umar Bago, on Saturday, played host to Mohammed Idris Malagi, Minister-designate of Information and National Orientation at the Niger State Lodge, Abuja.
Bago, who assured Idris of support, dispels rumours of soured relationship with Malagi, who is one of the two ministers from Niger State.
Dateline Nigeria reports that Bago clinched the APC governorship ticket for Niger State in May 2022, after defeating then Niger State Deputy Governor Ahmed Ketso, Mohammed Kutigi, Aliyu Idris, Sani Ndanusa, Mohammed Idris Malagi, Rufai Mohammed, Idris Makaranta, and Mohammed Kpautagi.
