The Director General, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) Fatima Waziri-Azi, on Thursday, played host to a delegation from the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC) led by the Director General Mr. Soji Eniade at the Agency’s headquarters, Abuja.
In his address, the CLTC boss stated that a lot of focus has in the past been placed more on leadership while neglecting the citizenship aspect of governance. He said citizens have a big role to play if the society must grow.
In her response, the DG stated that both government and individuals have a role to play in making society better.
The DG NAPTIP commended the CLTC in its effort at giving the youth a proper orientation for a better society and went further to encourage the centre on their mandate of value reorientation, patriotism and volunteerism.
