NPoC commissioner Aliyu Datti buried in Minna

The commissioner representing Niger State and FCT in the National Population Commission, NPoC, Barrister Aliyu Datti, who died on Thursday, has been buried after funeral prayers at the central mosque in Minna.

The funeral was attended by the Niger State Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, former Head of State General Abdulsami Abubakar, and former Niger State Governor Muazu Babangida Aliyu (Talban Minna).

Also in attendance were Senator Mohammed Sani Musa (Zone “B”), the Emir of Minna Alhaji Dr Umar Farouk Bahago and that of Agaie, Alhaji Nuhu Yusuf.

Late Aliyu Datti, who held the title of Magayakin Minna, died in the early hours of Thursday the 10th of December, 2020 at the age of 68.

Governor Sani Bello described the deceased as a good man, adding that he believed his goodness on earth will secure him a place in paradise.
