The police in Bauchi State have arrested elderly men for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl from Sabon Kaura village in Bauchi Local Government Area.
The Police Public Relations Officer DSP Mohammed Ahmed Wakil stated this while briefing newsmen saying the case was reported by Rabi’u Musa of Sabon Kaura.
Wakil said Ibrahim Musa, 63, and Nuhu Isah, 56, all of Unguwan Gado Bauchi allegedly had unlawfully carnal knowledge of 13-year-old Hauwa (not real name) of Sabon Kaura Bauchi on different occasions in a security room located at new GRA where Musa was employed as security guard. They gave her N1,000 and N300 respectively.
He said on receipt of the report, detectives were drafted and the victim was taken to hospital for medical examination.
Wakil said the suspects were arrested and confessed to have committed the offence and, adding that they will be charged to court for prosecution.
