Rahama Sadau in heated exchanges with ‘fans’ over photo

Nigerian actress Rahama Sadau, on Friday, engaged in heated exchanges with some of her ‘fans’ after posting some pictures on her Instagram page, where she has 2.7 million followers.

The pictures, which showed the actress with Alexx Ekubo, Dateline Nigeria understands, is among the many taken by the actress during the recording of a movie ‘Conversation in Transit’.

Though many liked the pictures, which attracted close to 2,000 comments in 24 hours, and encouraged the 28-year-old actress, some were not happy with them and went ahead to express their disapproval.

One Huzaifa Inusa said ‘Me hali ba ya fasa halinsa’ in Hausa, which roughly translates to ‘a leopard never changes its spots’.

AA Sarki said it was better for the actress to marry than engage in “useless act’ and incur the wrath of the Almighty Allah.

However, Rahama Sadau replied some of the uncomplimentary remarks.

To Hussaini Abdullah, who said ‘Saura hawa gado’ i.e. ‘next is to be in bed’, the actress said ‘An kusa ai’ meaning ‘it is happening soon.

Another ‘fan’, who goes by the name official_hero_30 on Instagram, asked Rahama Sadau if she is a Muslim and she replied thus ‘A’a, Ubanka ne’, meaning ‘no, it is your father’.

Dateline Nigeria reports that when another ‘fan’ asked her to ignore her detractors, she said she was only replying them because she had some free time.

This is not the first time Nigerian actress Rahama Sadau will be courting controversy with her social media postings.

In November 2020, she was forced to apologise and beg her family, friends and fans for forgiveness over the reactions that trailed some photos she posted on social media.

She also deleted the controversial photos from her twitter and Instagram accounts.

Rahama Sadau recently received praises for donating to the needy the money she made from her new movie, ‘Nadeeya’ through her foundation.
