Wike foils Nunieh’s house arrest, takes her to govt house

Rivers State Governor Nyeson Ezenwo Wike has rescued former boss of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Joy Nunieh after security operatives stormed her house.

Wike relocated the embattled former NDDC boss to the Government House in Port Harcourt, Dateline Nigeria learnt.

Nunieh was expected to appearance before a Senate panel in Abuja investigating the activities of the NDDC today.

The Niger Delta Minister Godswill Akpabio and Nunieh are currently trading accusation over allegations of corruption in the NDDC.
